World history comprehensive timeline

This timeline is going to be based from hunter-gather to modern warfare. With that it will be showing things in the middle of hunter-gathers to the Peloponnesian War and so on. From the hunters and gathers there will be 10 other topics.

hunter-gathers

The hunter-gatherer time period is when they would and hunt animals and gather food like plants. they would use arrow type things to help them hunt the animal. The people would leave if they had no luck with any of the animals or if there was none left for them to eat.

Early River Valleys

The first early river valley was along the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in the middle east. The four main river valleys include Indus,Yellow,Tigris-Euphrates, and Nile. Many of the people where nomads and would settle near rivers. They would settle near rivers so they would be able to have water and many animals go to them.

Sparta

Sparta was very war based they would start training at seven years old for children. Sparta was very centered on loyalty to the state and military service. Unlike other places woman had it better than other places around, they could train (at 7) for battles. Many places around Sparta would think spartan woman are famous for having more freedom.

Athens

Athens was based on literature,architecture,and philosophy. Athens had many beautiful buildings all around because they wanted it to be pretty. They were not like Sparta at all due to them being more on the peaceful side of things and woman had very little freedom. Athens was the heart of Greece in many ways, they had gorgeous buildings and many people enjoyed them.

Democracy

Democracy was used so people would be able to have power and be able to vote in the government. Democracy was created in Greece so when they would vote they could use democracy to help instead of not being able to vote. Democracy was used in athens to provide the people with the power so they could have  an option in voting.

The peloponnesian war was a war between Athens and Sparta. Athens and Sparta fought on and off for decades because no single city-state was strong enough to conquer the others. The war lasted from 431 to 404 BC, one of the major causes after the war was that greece was never the same.

The persian war was with Persia and Greek city-states. Greek won the war the war took place through 499 to 449 BC. The Greek city-states went against Persia even though persia was the biggest around them and never lost a war. The reason Persia wanted to conquer greece was because the king wanted to be apart of greek badly.

Philip II was the king of Spain he was also duke in Milan. Philip the II was born in May 21st 1527 and died on September 13th 1598. He was also lord of seventeen provinces.

Hellenism was the national character or culture of Greece, especially ancient Greece. Hellenism was used in history when Alexander the great was around he somewhat created it by joining many of the places around together. During the time Alexander the great went around conquering many thinks around greece.

The Roman Republic was the era of ancient roman civilzation and overthrew of the roman king. This dated back to 509 BC and ending in 27 BC. This led to the establisment of the Roman Empire.

Julius Caesar was a polictian and general who played a very important role in the events that led to end of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman empire. Julius Caesar was born July 13 100 BC and died March 15 44 BC and lived in Rome, Italy. Julius had at three wifes throughout his life.

Roman empire was the post roman republic of the ancient roman civilization characterized by government headed by emperors and large territorial holdings around the Mediterranean Sea in Europe. The Roman empire was founded in 27 BC and ended on May 29th 1453. The very first emperor was Augutus and the very last was Constantine XI Palaiologos.
