What did T-Rex use its tiny arms for and why did those tiny arms have such strong muscles?

The small arms of a T-Rex may seem funny but they were used for dangerous things. The arms of a T-Rex may seem useless but they were one of the most dangerous things on the T-Rex. The arms of the T-Rex were the one of the most dangerous things on the body because it slashed dinosaurs that were in reach of its arms, it could lift its self fast off the ground, and it could clutch on prey struggling to get away from its jaws.

First, thing that it used its arms for was for slashing dinosaurs that were close to it because it was hunting or because it was very territorial. If it was hunting it would pin the dinosaur down using its mighty jaws and it would slash the dinosaur using its sharp talons to inflict mortal wounds. The claws would inflict gashes that were a meter or more long and the wound will be a few centimeters deep within a few seconds. If it was for territorial reasons it would do the same thing except leave the dinosaur there instead of eating it.
