The Life of Louie Zamperini after World War 2

This is going to be about Louie Zamperini after he came home from the World War 2.

Louie's Life After World War 2

When Louie Zamperini came home from the war (was officially released on September 5, 1945)he was greeted by his family. Not shortly after of returning he married his wife, Cynthia  Applewhite they where married from 1946-2001. Over that time they had two kids, a boy and a girl. Louie had really bad PTSD and was a heavy drinker. It almost ruined his marriage, but his wife pushed him to get help and one night she told him he should go see Billy Graham at his program he was doing and Louie said alright. So Louie went and that changed his perspective on Christ and his life was also changed. That thing saved Louie's and Cynthia's marriage.

PTSD

found this image on Google. This is Louie Zamperini and Billy Graham in 1949.

Louie Zamperini with Billy Graham (1949 at Los Angeles Crusade). Louie's wife made him go because Louie had really bad PTSD after the war. After that Louie decided to forgive the Bird and guards that caused him pain during the war. He eventually found out the Bird( the one who caused him the most pain) wasn't dead. So Zamperini wanted to meet him and forgive him but the bird wouldn't. The guards was the only ones he got to meet in real-life and tell them he forgave them.

PTSD is where someone that goes through so much stress or sees things that' so traumatizing , and they just repeat that thing over and over in their mind.
