Lennie is not very bright,he is very strong, slow and big person and is described childlike he is a follower
In the morning they headed to a ranch in soladad
Candy the swamper. The first person George and Lennie meet
Curley is the bosses son he allways trys to pick on big guys like lennie he is suspicious that george doesnt let lennie talk

Curleys wife is described as a tart she flirts alot with the ranch workers , she is not a good wife to Curley

GEORGE explains to slim about what happened to lennie in weed and his behaviors and candy was forced to let his dog get shot by carlson
curley tries to pick a fight with lennie and after afew punches lennie crushes curleys had and made it look like an accedent
Candy finds out about the dream aand he asks to chip in and they were very close to getting the ranch
The next day when the guys ( accept lennie and candy) meet another man named crooks he is a black man and in those times he was descriminated and had almost nobody to talk to he doesnt believe the dream will happen at first he was mean to lennie but then he got better. he has a major back injury
The next day everyone is playing horse shoes, Lennie is in the barn looking at his dead puppy. Curley's wife enters and starts making a conversation with Lennie, but Lennie is busy thinking if George will let him tend the rabbits after he had just killed the puppy.
Lennie tells Curley's wife that he likes touching soft things. She says Lennnie must touch her hair and when Lennie does he doesnt let go and Curley's wife want to scream then Lennie panicks and snaps her neck. He then runs off to the brush.
In the brush George shoots Lennie with Carlson's Luger before Curley gets to him it was the only way
