At Sutori we love giving teachers and students the power to explore, create, and engage. Because of this, we were especially happy to see National Geographic chose “Explore! The Power of Maps” as the theme for the 2015 Geography Awareness week. Keep in mind that “explore” is only one step in the learning process. Today’s post for highlights population maps. Each activity asks to students to not only explore, but to also create engaging projects in order to communicate what they learned while exploring the maps. Enjoy!
