Slavery is a state of being a slave.Slavery lasted over to 250 years.

Who are free blacks, and describe their life style.

The free blacks were once slaves who won their freedom. Their life style was being slaves and got out of being slaves.

Explain ways in which slaves were treated differently in the North and South?

They were treated differently in the north and south because they were treated like property, and slave auctions took place often.

Who is Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, and Nat Turner? Compare and contrast their lives.

Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, and Nat Turner were all the same because they were all abolitionist together.

Frederick Douglass was known for being a slave and he was known from escaping slavery.  He was also known for being a prominent activist, author and public speaker.

Sojourner Truth was also known for being a former slave and she was known for civil war work and in 1864 she met up with President Abraham Lincoln.
