
Best Buy, Worst Experience
They might be the cheapest but my experience with them was the worst. All we wanted was an iPod and a little shelf stereo system with an iPod Dock. While Best Buy had the stereo system we wanted, neither of the two sales people helping us could figure out how to play the music. Went to Future Shop where we had fantastic service but just coudn't come up with the same great product....so the Future SHop guy said to go buy it online from Best Buy... which we did.
Ahhh wait. The product came but part of the shipment was missing. After endless amounts of time working through the prompts on the Best Buy customer service line and one disconnect i talked to a nice fellow. Who told me that i had to wait 7 days before they could initiate a trace on my lost package. That is their policy. Canada Post will allow the trace right away but it must come from the sender... not me, the receiver. DOH! So frustrating.... Besty Buy might be cheaper but they are NOT the better option... at least not in my experience. Burned by Best Buy.

I totally agree. Best Buy is the worst electronics store ever. They give you a HUGE hassle when you want to actually use the replacement plan you paid hundreds of dollars for!!!
I agree also. I have had bad experiences with Best Buy. I threatened to go to FutureShop and they just laughed at me and said "go ahead. We own them." Their warranties are useless too (from my experience). My family avoids shopping their if we can help it.
