Kenmore Elite Dryer with "Even Heat"

Company/Brand: Sears

Does anyone have a new (purchased within the past year) Kenmore Elite Dryer with "Even Heat" on which the moisture sensor works?   I have had repair people out four times.  They replaced the sensors, the computer, something else; one kind of shrugged his shoulders and said "the new ones don't work like the old ones."  Nobody, however, can make the moisture sensor work.  The timed dry is fine, but you can get a machine with just timed dry for a lot less than this machine cost.  Again, does ANYONE have a machine on which this feature works????

We have a maytag stacker, old style (10 years?) and we always use it on the moisture sensor. I've found it surprisingly accurate: not moist, not burning dry when it's done, and that's with a mix of cotton and synthetics.
