Everytime I email them regarding a certain issue, they reply to me with a template email that does not even answer my question or even that close to.

They are totally unprofessional and lack of common sense.

Try googling their customer service, and you will not even find a single positive statement

As a web designer I routinely need to get access to FTP servers and as a results deal with a lot of hosting providers. Some of my clients use Radiant, other Net nation, Telus, dreamhost, doteasy and Shaw. Dealing with these hosting providers is a real pain because they all have their way of dealing with things.

Recently I had a problem with one of my clients website. After modifying the DNS I still couldn't get the site up. During the course of a week I phoned them 4 times. On my last call, I spoke to Terry who was finally able to identify my problem. Not only did Terry fix the problem he called me the next day to see if I could see the website! I was amazed. Someone from customer server actually took the time to call me. Now that's great service.

Since the end of June when my business was first listed on the site http://www.getbiz.co.uk, the impact has been excellent, as at this time of year the video production side of my business is usually quite quiet. As a video producer (we also do CD duplication, replication, etc ... ) I am inundated with people asking me to advertise with them, some of these are quite costly with little return.

GetBiz is value for money; it has already paid for itself for the next year. I don't think anyone can beat that!

What I really like is that fact that it is both a business directory and a search engine. You choose keywords relevant to your business and the site returns your details when people search for these keywords.

Hacía tiempo que llevaba la idea de hacer una página web. Queria probar si podía hacer un negocio de cuadros por Internet.

Soy pintor, bueno en mis tiempos libres me dedico a la pintura y hago cuadros decorativos, mi idea era venderlos por Internet para sacarme un extra.

Estuve buscando proveedores de hosting y proveedores de páginas web para elegir al más adecuado, al principio era muy complicado, es decir y muy confuso, de hecho he notado que incluso que al no entender, pagaba cosas que posiblemente de forma inicial no me harían falta.

Navegando por internet encontré una página web www.inesby.com , donde me ofrecían lo que yo necesitaba por solo 29 euros al mes. Y me decidí a probar.

Desde luego sabia decisión porque la verdad es que la gente de InesBy me han ayudado personalmente, me han explicado conceptos comerciales y de venta por Internet y han llevado mi idea de negocio perfectamente, sin más facturas, sin sustos y sin sorpresas.

Estoy encantado con ellos porque francamente son gente que está ahí cuando los necesitas y me han ofrecido una herramienta perfecta, que puedo utilizar sin conocimientos informáticos sin ser programador. Me actualizo mi catalogo, me cambio los contenidos, añado enlaces, fotos, incluso videos del Youtube.

Desde aquí me gustaría agradecer a la Gente de InesBy, el trato que me han dado y la ilusión que me han transmitido y mi forma de algún modo de recompensarles evidentemente es hablar bien de ellos.

Bell Canada and its perceived monopoly

I've finally left Bell Canada and have never felt better! Throughout the 2 year contract, I found them to have terrible customer service and a notion that it didn't matter the quality of service they provided because A) I was locked into a contract and B) There wasn't any other game in town.

Well I've proved them wrong (finally)

I've gone with Cogeco for TV, and Teksavvy for internet and phone. Even though Teksavvy gets Bell wholesale, it amounts to only a fraction of the old amount going to Ma Bell.

Also Teksavvy is the same service but a lot cheaper and has MUCH better and more knowledgable customer service.

My advice, DO NOT sign any contract with Bell. They want to lock you in so are helpless when you have problems with your service or billing.

Oh yes, and Bell Canada has started throttling certain types of internet traffic that they deem to be unimportant. Its impossible to get download speeds over 30kb/sec. They want to censor the internet like in China I guess! Its pretty bad.
