      <title>Shaw HD</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;If you are thinking about upgrading to a Shaw cable HD box, keep this in mind:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Of the 15 HD channels currently available from Shaw, you only get access to about 5 of them (the 5 includes networks like ABC, NBC, CBC, etc., but don&amp;#39;t include channels like Discovery&amp;nbsp; HD and National Geographic HD, TSN HD, etc.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In order to get these, they want you to subscribe to a package called HD premium, which is another $10/month.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is deceiving because when you buy the HD box you are made to believe that you get all 15 channels -- not just 5. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Installations are getting tricky</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;I recently moved home, so in February I called sky and asked how i should go about it moving home and so forth.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I was told to clal two weeks in advance of moving so they could book an engineer for me and i would be charged &amp;pound;40 for the installation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I accepted that, despite the fact that I pay what&amp;nbsp;I think is way to much for SKY anyway but that a whole other story. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I called up two&amp;nbsp; weeks in advance the 17th of february and I was told that an engineer couldn&amp;#39;t come until the 7th of march, ok I&amp;#39;ll miss one episode of lost I can live with that&amp;nbsp;I thought.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On the 7th despite the sky lady i booked it with had asked for a specialist heights team to come, only one guy showed up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;They had sent the text message and the whole thing he was on time and all that worked brilliantly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well he couldn&amp;#39;t install sky so he called up his office who then rebooked it for a week later. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok now i felt like a virgin media&amp;nbsp;customerr I had lost 2 episodes of lost! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A week later one guy turned up 3 hours to early so I was not a the property I couldn&amp;#39;t take two whole days off to wait for sky. He wasn&amp;#39;t a specialist heights team either. he then called me said sky would contact me to book a new installation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I called up the engineersing company and asked if they could get a guy out asap as it was their fault not sky&amp;#39;s fault, they said nope sky would have to re book.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I asked sky again who this time gave me another 3 weeks wait.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok now i might as well have switched to Virgin Media, lost is over soon and i&amp;#39;d loose the whole 4th series!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The next date was the 1st of April, i waited.. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;nothing happened, i called sky on the&amp;nbsp;4th and they didn&amp;#39;t know what had happened either.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I then decided to cancel my sky subscription for good, I was fed up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Sky is expensive.&lt;br /&gt;2. Sky is a monopoly&lt;br /&gt;3. Sky has strange greedy ways of taking moeny from you their Direct debit is evil&lt;br /&gt;4. Sky charges you almost &amp;pound;5 per month if you are nto on direct debit&lt;br /&gt;5. Customer support has cost me &amp;pound;12 this month dialling the 0870 number! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So I asked the operator to put MR Mudroc is too greedy as the reason for my cancellation. They didn&amp;#39;t have that category he said! I said they should add it and they did.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Well I though everything was good, &amp;nbsp;but then i was told I couldn&amp;#39;t get a refund for not having sky since effectively february only if I got sky installed could i have that.?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Then i was told I had 30 days cancellation time! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So all in all I was being charged &amp;pound;40 plus my monthly fee of &amp;pound;35 for two months to be able to cancel my sky subscription.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I took me a lot of angry words, ( no swearing though) &amp;nbsp;and a consistant demand to talk to some one senior and don&amp;#39;t forget about &amp;pound;2.35 more in telephone charges as the phone kept gettng passed form one unit to the other.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In the end I managed to get hodl of a manager who could help me and it was cancelled.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I felt violated, and if i hadn&amp;#39;t know my rights I would almost feel obliged to stay with sky as it seemed cheaper than leaving them!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;&amp;#39;d have been charged &amp;pound;120 for nothing from sky.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But it worked out I complained and kept at it despite many times almost giving up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I didn&amp;#39;t win the battle about the 0870 phone bill but then thats a small fee of a total of &amp;pound;14 the last three months that can be written off, when considering I was almost charged 10 that if i hadn&amp;#39;t complained.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
