Stadium Beer Prices (GM Place).

I went to the first Canucks game of the 2006-2007 season. It was a pre-season game with the Sharks. To my surprise, they have jacked the prices on beer once again. It is now $8 for a Stadium Pint of Pale Ale. How is it that Orca Bay Sports and GM Place feel it is necessary to jack up the price of beer every season? Is this really the best way to reward their loyal fans? Lets see, the stadium has been sold out for at least 3 full seasons now. More over, the team wasn't even good enough to make the playoffs last year. Personally, I feel that they should drop the beer prices to try to reward the fans for their support, and to keep the fans coming to the games, especially if they aren't going to ice a good enough team to get into the post season. Otherwise, their streak of consecutive sellouts will soon end. Let's face it, $8 for a urine sample sized cup of mediocre beer is highway robbery!
