We booked moving with this company roughly a month ago, wanting to do everything in advance in preparation for our moving especially having a 4 month old baby. We live in downtown Toronto in a 1 bedroom apartment, so not a huge moving job.

Mr. Dehal showed up the moving day alone (he was supposed to have one more mover with him), with a fourgonette only (obviously not enough space for furniture and boxes).

Mr. Dehal stated that his driver did not show up for some personal reason (later confessing that the driver didn't want to come to downtown on the parade weekend) and that's why he showed up alone. So my husband was supposed to carry everything with him, defeating the purpose of hiring a mover in the first place.

Mr. Dehal was well aware that we needed to leave the apartment no later than 9:30am as we needed to catch a train back to Montreal at Union Station at 11:30, reason for which we booked the moving for 7am. He said that as everything we had wouldn't fit in his vehicle, we should give him the key of our apartment, go catch our train, and he would go back to Hamilton to get a trailer and put the rest of the things in it later himself. Completely unprofessional.

When we refused to do such a thing, he got upset, loud, screaming (don't forget my 4 month old baby was in the midst of all this) then proceeded by saying that he didn't need to do this kind of job for 700.00. He threw the deposit money we had given him on the floor and just left.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM. He had a company in the past under another name for what I gather (Two men moving) and it wouldn't surprise me if he changed the name of the company again. That should have been a red flag for me but since I googled his name and the current company's on the net and sound only one report years ago, I didn't make much of it.

Not and honest business man and left us hanging here with all the moving and a baby, on a Saturday morning.

DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING HE SAYS OR HIS WEBSITE (which by the way seems to have just been taken down)

I was looking for the perfect Father's Day treat this year but had no idea what to get. My dad is very picky with certain things. lol

I remembered how he is a big fan of fresh chocolate fudge and I seen on the Gertrude Hawk Chocolate website how they sell variety packs of these. I ordered my dad some earlier this week in hopes of getting them before Father's Day. They were just delivered today.

I thought I would share my experience with this great family owned company. It's important to support small businesses like these during these tough economic times. I'm glad I did!!

Credit Card Help

I was recently in a great deal of debt thanks to three card bills. It got to the point where I was only paying on the interest rates and could barely get ahead. Then my husband lost his job and it became too much. I found out about this company from a search on Google and I was so glad I did.

Their courteous and knowledgeable customer service staff not only calmed my fears but also got my family on a path towards a life with no credit card bills! YAY!
